Maker Faire is coming back to Halifax! We'll be holding the official Halifax Mini Maker Faire on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May 2015, and we need YOUR help...

We're looking for talented Makers, designers, crafters and artists to exhibit their projects at our Mini Maker Faire. To take part, you will need to complete our Call for Makers form, and we'll take it from there...

What's a Maker Faire?
It’s a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity and imagination, celebrating the Maker in all of us.

Part science fair, part craft fair, and part something entirely new, Maker Faires are an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, scientists, authors, artists, and students. All of these “makers” come to Maker Faire to show what they have made and to share what they have learned.

We need lots of makers to make a Maker Faire!
If you create, build, invent, design or hack then we want to hear from you! We would love to receive applications from individuals, groups, clubs, schools and businesses who want to share their skills and provide an engaging, hands-on experience for an appreciative audience.

Here are just some of the things we want to have at our Mini Maker Faire, in no particular order...
3D Printing • Young Makers • Interactive Workshops • Hands-on Activities • Mechanics Projects • Textiles • Screen Printing • Robotics • Musical Instruments • Science Demos • Craft • Software Projects • Toys • Games • Recycled Projects • Arts • Apps • Traditional Craft • Programming • Unusual Machines • How to Fix Things • Raspberry Pi • how to solder...

If you'd like any more information please call us on 01422 330069 or email makerfaire@eureka.org.uk.

Thanks for your application!
