Thank you for your interest in the Zoom 2023 Called Cohort. We are Rich and Shellie Wooten and we pastor Life Church in Salt Lake City, Utah. We are excited that you are exploring the possibility of God’s call to ministry and want to help you in your journey. Here is a little information about this cohort.
ZOOM SESSIONS: We will be hosting four (4) one-hour Zoom cohort sessions where you will be joined with others who are exploring the possibility of God’s call to ministry.
TOPICS OF DISCUSSION: In that time, we will talk about things like…
- What is a call to ministry?
- How does God call people?
- How do we know if we are called?
- Misconceptions about the call.
- Things that confirm God’s call.
- What steps should we take to explore God’s call?
DATES & TIMES OF SESSIONS: These will be informal discussions with lots of Q&A. Each of the four Zoom Called Cohort sessions will be one hour in length on the following dates.
• Sunday, September 24, 2023, from 6 PM – 7 PM (MST)
• Sunday, October 1, 2023, from 6 PM – 7 PM (MST)
• Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 6 PM – 7 PM (MST)
• Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 6 PM – 7 PM (MST)
BONUS: Those who sign up and complete the four-session Cohort will be given one free online Bible school class by Pathway on New Testament Survey. New Testament Survey (BIB 212) is an examination of the development of redemptive history throughout the New Testament in the context of its geographical and cultural background. Key themes and selected critical issues are discussed with a view to aiding students to develop a biblically informed worldview.
