Parade Participation Application

Barracks Road's Annual Holiday Parade
*NEW DATE: Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.

To better accommodate the schedules of parade participants, we are delighted to let you know the Barracks Road Holiday Parade will take place the first Saturday of December this year! Please join us as we kick off the season with Santa Claus, colorful floats, costumed characters, impressive marching bands, horse-drawn carriages, and many other community members for this festive event!

Arrival Time: 8:45 a.m.

Location: Parking lot of Buffalo Wild Wings

Parade Route: From Harris Teeter to Kroger

Length of Parade: Approximately 30 minutes (1/4 mile)

Exiting the Parade: Large units to exit before Brixx Wood Fired Pizza

All other units to exit in parking lot beside
Brixx Wood Fired Pizza

If you would like to apply to participate, please complete the following application NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 11, 2017.

Once we receive your application, a confirmation letter with your position number will be emailed no later than November 28.

A holiday tradition for over 40 years, this event draws hundreds of community members to Barracks Road Shopping Center. Don’t miss the chance to kick off the holidays by raising awareness about your organization*. In order to help us continue to offer this long-time event in our community, there is a $100 fee per entry for participation. Participation for NON-PROFIT organizations is free of charge.
