Presentation Booking Request

Thank you for your interest in a presentation on the importance of organ and tissue donation and transplantation for your class/school.

Due to the popularity of this offering and COVID19, a minimum booking time of 4 - 6 weeks is required for presentation dates requested.
 
PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19, presentations will continue to be offered virtually at this time. However, GTA high schools have the opportunity to book an in-person presentation if allowable by their school.

Presentations may be booked between September 2022 to June 2023.
Please ensure you submit up to 4 optional dates/times as we may not be able to accommodate your first choice.

In partnership with the Trillium Gift of Life Network (Ontario Health), the roster of speakers include healthcare professionals from the University of Toronto Transplantation Institute which encompasses the Ajmera Transplant Centre at UHN, Transplant and Regenerative Medicine Centre at The Hospital for Sick Children, and St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. In addition, a transplant recipient, living organ donor, or donor family member will also attend to share their transplant story.

Please select additional materials for your students attending the presentation. Materials will be sent in advance to the teacher email to distribute to students prior to the presentation. Materials will be in English but can be requested in other languages.  By default the BeADonor pamphlet will be included.

Presentation Booking Details

A booking lead time of four (4) weeks is required for all bookings in order to secure speakers. Every effort will be made to accommodate your first choice.

Confirmed virtual presentations will be sent a secure password protected licensed Zoom meeting link to the booking teacher.  Additional audio/visual may be needed to setup the best experience in a classroom setting. Please ensure your setup works and if needed to schedule a test session for a date in advance.
