The North Carolina Center for Nonprofits is committed to educating, connecting, and advocating for North Carolina nonprofits serving all 100 counties. We are seeking nominations for three (3) open positions on our board of directors who provide guidance, feedback, and steer the direction of our organization. You can nominate a community member or yourself. Nominations will be accepted through March 22, 2024. 

The Center places extraordinary value on seeing equity, diversity, and inclusion embedded within the structure of all organizations and communities across the state. Accordingly, our board of directors is committed to the selection of board candidates of diverse race, age, gender identity, ethnicity, ability, and faith that reflect our NC communities, and who bring varied experiences, skills, and perspectives to the responsibilities of our governing board.  

All nominees will be vetted by our Board Nominations Committee. Current Center members will vote in May to elect the candidates selected for the board ballot.  The newly elected members’ board service will start on July 1, 2024 for the 2024-25 Fiscal Year.
