Birth Control and Blood Clots Study Phase 2: Introduction

3% of survey complete.
Lucine Health Sciences via Hormones Matter is conducting research on the risks for blood clots when using hormonal contraceptives. The results from this study will be used to help inform women about their personal level of risk, and factors affecting it, when using hormonal birth control.

This survey is designed for the family members or partners of women who have suffered a fatal blood clot while on any form of hormonal contraception. Hormonal contraception includes birth control pills, patches and vaginal rings, as well as Depo-Provera injections and implants. This phase of the research involves completing an anonymous online survey.
