Recognizing Black History Month 2025

Across our health system, there are many dedicated and passionate members of Manitoba’s Black community who contribute each and every day to the compassionate care of patients, residents and clients.

Is there a health-care worker in the Black community who you would like to acknowledge for their role as a mentor, educator, or trailblazer?

Black History Month is a time to learn, share and work together towards a culturally safe, inclusive and equitable environment.

As we recognize and celebrate the achievements and contributions of our colleagues and fellow health-care workers who are members of the Black community, we encourage you to nominate someone you work alongside or someone you know goes above and beyond to care for others and support their team.
