The City of Bisbee received a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Economic Development Grant Program, to conduct a feasibility study for a new shared use path that would run along a 1.25- mile segment of SR 80 between the historic Downtown District, and the Lowell District. This study will identify the feasibility of a new pathway that, when implemented, will provide a safe and comfortable facility for residents to walk and bike, improving their health and quality of life. The pathway will also serve as a catalyst for economic development.

A draft concept plan has been prepared for the shared use path.  The concept plan is available and can be viewed here.
