BFI Flare community history project

In 2026, BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival celebrates its 40th birthday.

For this landmark, we are launching the BFI Flare community history project, and would love to hear from as many members of the BFI Flare community as possible – whether you’ve been coming for decades or have only recently discovered the Festival, have had your film screen at the Festival or have been part of the BFI Flare community in any other way.
