Region 14 Upper Rio Grande Flood Plan Survey (Fall 2021)
33%
This is a survey for the Upper Rio Grande Regional Flood Plan to better understand flooding issues in parts of 23 counties across West Texas.
Your responses will help Texas more effectively allocate resources to reduce flooding impacts. We'll ask several questions about your experiences, whether you've been impacted by flooding events and how you would prioritize risk and risk mitigation. This survey was commissioned by the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) and is being conducted by the Rio Grande Council of Governments (RGCOG). The RGCOG serves as the sponsor for the Regional Flood Planning Group (RFPG) consisting of stakeholder representatives throughout the region.
Your candid, thorough feedback is very valuable to the planning process. The information we collect will inform future flood planning documents. Projects, strategies, and issues identified through this process may be eligible for future funding opportunities. The Flood Plan relies on feedback collected from communities, stakeholders, and individuals like you.
If you would like to submit specific feedback on a map related to flood issues, infrastructure, projects, or areas of exposure,

to go to the online mapping tool. You will have another opportunity to submit specific location feedback at the end of the survey.
