Voting Rules, Limits & Conditions
To be considered valid, ballots must include votes in six (6) or more categories.
Voting is open from August 20 – September 18, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Individuals are limited to one ballot per person per day. All ballots must include the voter’s email address and zip code to be valid. All individuals must be 18 years or older to vote. Voting is online only. Ballots will be open continuously to voters worldwide for the entirety of the voting period by logging into

All voting entities must meet the geographic eligibility requirements for the applicable recognition.
Best of Sanford: Eligible entities must be located within the Greater Sanford area.
Best of Downtown Sanford Top 10: Only eligible businesses and entities located within Downtown Sanford may be considered for this recognition.
Best of Seminole Top 10: Only eligible businesses and entities located within Seminole County, Florida, may be considered for this recognition
Attempts to vote in violation of these limits will forfeit all votes, in all categories.
These rules are subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of My Sanford Magazine, LLC. Notification regarding any change will be posted at www.mysanfordmagazine.com, www.bestofsanfordfl.com and My Sanford Magazine, LLC social media platforms.
By voting, you agree to be bound by these Official Voting Rules, and not to use automated systems, bots, fraudulent accounts, or unofficial third- party services to cast votes on your behalf or on behalf of any third party.
Voting Limits
Individuals are limited to one ballot per person, email address per day. All individuals must be 18 years or older to vote. Attempts to vote in violation of these limits will forfeit all votes, in all categories.
Selection of Winners
Following the close and validation of voting, the eligible entity receiving the highest number of valid votes in each Best of Sanford category will be declared the Winner. The eligible entities receiving the second- and third-highest number of valid votes in each category will be recognized as Finalists.
In the event of a tie, technical or reporting difficulties, questions regarding eligibility, voting irregularities, or any other circumstance affecting the determination of a Winner or Finalist, My Sanford Magazine, LLC reserves the right to make the final determination.
Reservations for My Sanford Magazine, LLC
My Sanford Magazine, LLC, may select recipients of additional honorific awards in certain additional regions or categories. Such awards may be selected independently and are not required to be determined by public voting.
If, for any reason, the My Sanford Magazine, LLC Awards voting process cannot proceed as planned, including but not limited to an infection by computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical or reporting failures, or any other cause beyond the control of My Sanford Magazine, LLC corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this voting process, My Sanford Magazine, LLC reserves the right to take any action deemed appropriate, including invalidating votes or permanently disqualifying participants involved in improper voting activity.
Voting may be suspended or terminated if the integrity of the voting process has been compromised. In these circumstances, results may be determined based on valid votes received and verified before the voting process has been so distorted by hacking, failures, errors, or other interference that the results would not reflect actual valid votes should the voting continue.
