Best of Miami Lakes Awards 2026 Nominations

Celebrate a decade of supporting local! The Town of Miami Lakes and its Economic Development Committee are proud to kick off the 10th Annual Best of Miami Lakes Awards, inviting residents and visitors to nominate their favorite local businesses.
Help us recognize the businesses that make our community exceptional by casting your vote in fourteen categories: Breakfast Spot, Happy Hour, Cup of Coffee, Financial, Legal, Real Estate, Other Professional Services, Lunch Spot, Dinner, Retail, Beauty, Health Provider, and Fitness. To be eligible, businesses must be current on their Business Tax Receipt.


Dates and Deadlines
  • Nomination Round: July 22 – August 31
  • Finalist Round: September 25 – October 2

The winners of the Best of Miami Lakes Awards for 2026 will be announced on October 5th and will be feautred on the October 16th issue of the Miami Laker.
Business Tip: To maximize your chances of becoming a finalist, we encourage businesses to focus their campaign efforts on one award category. Asking customers to vote for your business in a single category helps consolidate votes and increases your opportunity to advance.

For example, a breakfast restaurant that also serves great coffee may want to choose either Best Breakfast Spot or Best Cup of Coffee rather than promoting both categories. Concentrating your votes in one category is the best strategy for success.
