The Brewers Association Export Development Program (EDP) exists to strengthen and expand opportunities for small and independent American craft brewers in international markets. To do this effectively, the Brewers Association works with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to ensure that the impact and scope of U.S. craft beer exports are accurately represented.
The Annual Export Survey plays a critical role in this effort. The information collected helps demonstrate the real economic value, reach, and needs of craft brewers exporting abroad. Accurate, comprehensive data allows the Brewers Association to report on industry activity in a way that reflects the true contributions of small and independent brewers and supports continued government investment in programs that promote U.S. beer internationally.
All survey responses are strictly confidential. The Brewers Association does not share individual brewery data. Any information communicated externally—whether to the USDA, in public reports, or with other brewers—is aggregated to present an industry-wide picture only.
