Expression of interest for Cycling Ireland Athlete Development Programme 2022.

The following form is an expression of interest to be considered for the Cycling Ireland Athlete Development Programme 2022. This programme is for riders born between 1st Jan 2004 and 31st December 2005 only.

All applications will be acknowledged, and relevant names held on file.

*NB – all correspondence through the Junior ranks (under 18 years) will be through the below parent/guardian name and contact details. * This is a mandatory requirement.

Due to the current Covid restrictions, in-person testing is not possible.

In order to provide additional information to assist with the application process, we request Endurance Discipline (Road, Track Endurance, MTB XC, Cyclocross) applicants to conduct the Endurance Critical Power Test Protocol and Sprint Discipline (Track Sprint, BMX, DH MTB) applicants to conduct the Sprint Critical Power Test Protocol.

Please complete the test and submit all data within this survey on or before Sunday 23/01/2022.
Please include your weight on the day of the test.

You should consult with your medical practitioner to ensure you are fit to undertake the fitness test especially in the case of any recent illness e.g., Covid 19

17.The Cycling Ireland Athlete Development Programme requires a high level of commitment.
