This survey aims to understand the experiences of those diagnosed with prostate cancer in New Zealand who are currently (or who have been on) Active Surveillance for prostate cancer. Most questions involve selecting a rating. A few optional questions allow you to provide additional comments. The survey is anonymous and should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. The data in this survey is being collected anonymously and will be held by the survey promoter, PCFNZ. Aggregated results and analysis including a report will be shared with professional bodies, health agencies and the public upon completion of the survey.
Please note: this survey aims to find out about your experience of the healthcare professional appointments, scans, blood tests and biopsies that happened BEFORE the first time you received any actual treatment like surgery, radiotherapy, hormone therapy or chemotherapy for your prostate cancer. It is NOT about your experience of the monitoring that you are receiving or received AFTER your first or subsequent treatments.
