Background: Pursuant to Senate Bill (SB)1444, passed by the 2022 Second Regular Session of the Fifty-Fifth Arizona Legislature, the Arizona State Hospital must develop an “evidence-based and innovative clinical improvement and human resources development plan and proposed budget”, and transmit this information to various pertinent stakeholders on or before September 1, 2023.
In order to successfully accomplish this requirement, the Hospital is seeking input from pertinent members of the community who may be able to provide substantive feedback and recommendations specific to future improvements necessary to expand and/or enhance service provision. This includes members of the Independent Oversight Committees on mental health and the Arizona State Hospital, public and private community resources, community providers and guardians, and families and representatives of patients at the Arizona State Hospital, among others.
All responses will be captured anonymously and the majority of questions are optional. This survey will close as of 5:00 PM on Friday, April 28, 2023, and the feedback received will be incorporated as an addendum into the final deliverable as described in the language above.
