1. Asian Sport Engagement Model

Harbour Sport has developed a model (Asian Sport Engagement Model-ASEM) to support the effective engagement of Asian communities by Regional Sports Organisations and clubs. This model will assist your sport in identifying gaps between the composition of your members compared to the composition of the surrounding community and then developing strategies to ensure they reflect each other.
It is a check list with a brief explanation supporting each point. (see Harbour Sport website for full ASEM)Sports are encouraged to complete the year 1 checklist as a baseline measure and then continue to check it annually to determine changes implemented in their sport. The check list can
•Provide an indication of areas where a sport is already taking positive steps to proactively engage an ethnic community
