Thank you for assisting the ASCO Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee (CPGC) in identifying potential topics for guideline development. The CPGC has delegated the identification and prioritization of guideline topics to Guideline Advisory Groups (AGs). There are currently Advisory Groups for Breast Cancer, Gastrointestinal Cancer, Genitourinary Cancer, Gynecologic Cancer, Head and Neck Cancer, Multi-Site, Resource Stratification, Supportive Care, Survivorship, and Thoracic Cancer . The AGs will consider topics suggested by the ASCO membership when revisiting current priorities. In this case, the CPGC will review these suggestions. Each summer the AGs will review and prioritized the submitted topics. In the fall, the CPGC will review and approve the list for the upcoming year. ASCO strives to produce guidelines that could have the greatest impact on the greatest number of patients in practice.
