Introduction

Thank you in advance for taking the time to fill in the annual BPS Arts Education survey for SY24.  The survey should take you approximately 15 minutes to complete, providing answers to the best of your knowledge for your school. The entire survey is on a single page so you can review all questions prior to completing it.

For the purpose of this survey, it is important to understand how we define arts education, which includes the following disciplines: Visual Arts, Instrumental and Choral Music, Dance, Theatre, Media Arts, Spoken Word.

The survey includes questions that will inform your school’s School Arts Index, a tool developed with the input of school leaders, teachers, and arts partners, for schools to measure the arts offerings in their buildings. When you complete the survey by Friday, October 27th, your school's name will be placed in a raffle. Four raffle-winning schools will receive $500 to be used for art supplies or arts-related field trips.
