Welcome Page

I want to thank you for your interest in the Heartland District Summer Internship Program!  As a young adult, I am sure you are exploring many possibilities for your future. This can be a very exciting time, but it can also be a little scary!  And in the middle of every possibility is the huge question: “What does God want me to do?!”

We believe our program can be an experience to help discover “what God has next” for young adults.  It is a unique blend of training in God’s Word, hands-on ministry involvement and personal discipleship that is such an important foundation for life—WHATEVER God may be calling you to do in your future.

Before you fill out the application, allow me to give you a small overview of some particulars of the Heartland Summer Internship Program:

·      Students will be serving our many youth camps in any capacity necessary at Camp Hickory located in Ingleside, IL

·      Students will be trained and challenged in personal study of God’s Word, and in group settings

·      Students will be mentored and discipled by experienced pastors and leaders from the Heartland District and Foursquare Church

·      Students will receive a weekly stipend, and a scholarship of $1000 towards the schooling of their choice upon completion of the program. The Heartland District office will also reimburse all traveling expenses.

·      The dates for the internship are June 10th – July 27th, 2018.

·      Students must be between the ages of 18-24 at the start of the program

·      Applications must be submitted or postmarked by April 6th, 2018

As you continue to seek the Lord about your involvement with The Heartland Internship Program, I am praying that He will give you real confirmation.  May you hear the voice of your Shepherd loud and clear as you ask Him about the days ahead of you!

Please call, or email me, if you have questions—or if you’d just like to talk. I am looking forward to hearing from you!
