Introduction

This application for the Class of 2027 will open at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026.

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Leadership Council San Mateo County 10-month immersion program. Before you apply, please confirm that you are able to attend all Learning Days including the mandatory opening session on September 10 and 11, 2026 from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm on both days. Please note that, in addition to the Learning Days, CORPS and Emerging Leader participants are required to complete approximately 1 hour of pre-work per month, and Emerging Leader participants are required to complete approximately 3-4 hours of small-group project time per month.

The application will take approximately 35 minutes to complete. You may save your progress and return to the application at any time before submitting.

The Class of 2027 application deadline is Friday, May 1, 2026. If you complete the application after the deadline, we will consider your application on our waitlist.

The application process for the program is competitive, and we receive more applications than we have spots available. We encourage you to submit a thoughtful and complete application. Your responses should reflect your interest in participating in the program. Thank you again for your time and interest in Leadership Council SMC programs.
