Johan (du Toit, the founder of Applifam) has graciously agreed to let me invite you to take a brief survey. I’m interested in who takes part in our editing challenges – and why. How many countries are represented, for example, and what is the lure that keeps some of us editing for hours? For those who don’t know, I’m on faculty at a journalism school in the U.S. (details are in the survey) where I teach multimedia. I also research how people share information, especially in new ways. And I take part in Applifam as @ljthornton.
