As part of this process, the Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE) is seeking stakeholder input to ensure regulations are clear, effective, and not unnecessarily burdensome.

Chapter 17. Regulation of Postsecondary Educational Institutions

Alaska Administrative Code Title 20, Chapter 17 outlines the framework for authorizing, regulating, and overseeing postsecondary educational institutions in Alaska. The chapter aims to protect students through transparency in information disclosure, maintain program quality and financial stability, ensure institutions meet established standards, and provide the State with the authority to take action when institutions fail to comply.
