As part of this process, the Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE) is seeking stakeholder input to ensure regulations are clear, effective, and not unnecessarily burdensome.
Chapter 16. Education Grant and Scholarship Programs
Alaska Administrative Code Title 20, Chapter 16 establishes two major state aid programs: the Alaska Education Grant Program, which provides need-based financial assistance to help Alaska residents afford postsecondary education, and the Alaska Performance Scholarship Program, which rewards high-achieving high school graduates who pursue further education in Alaska. The chapter sets the framework, eligibility requirements, institutional responsibilities, and general definitions for administering these programs.
