Award purpose: Volunteers have been vital to the off-field success of the Richmond Football Club since its formation in 1885 and this award elevates its recipient into the deserved spotlight.
The purpose of this award is to honour those who have contributed in a voluntary capacity at the Richmond Football Club.

Award criteria: The Alice Wills Award honours outstanding dedication and commitment of 10 years or more, by a volunteer of the Richmond Football Club.
