Survey Instructions

Welcome and thank you for agreeing to participate in the 2017 Ontario Recreational Lakes and Algae Survey.

This survey seeks your opinion on the health of Ontario’s recreational lakes, with a particular focus on algae and recreational enjoyment. Your perspectives will help government and other management agencies evaluate key issues relevant to improving or maintaining the quality of Ontario’s recreational lakes.

We estimate it will take you approximately 20 minutes to complete the survey.

This survey forms part of a Queen’s University graduate student project, and is being conducted as a partnership between Queen’s University, The Federation of Ontario Cottagers’ Associations (FOCA), the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MOECC), the Muskoka Watershed Council, and Nipissing University.

Privacy: Your participation in this survey is voluntary. No participant or lake association identifier will be shared or released during any stage of the project. However, information gathered from the survey will be shared with the public through a final report and publications.
