Option 1: Land-Only Deviation

* 6. Would you like to request a land-only package? Please note that land-only packages are only approved on a case by case basis and can only be granted to a small number of participants.

* 7. Would you like to extend your trip and use your return flight through AHSTF? If so, provide a preferred date for your return flight. Please note flights must leave from the scheduled departure airport of Edinburgh or Glasgow, and may generally only be extend 7 days beyond the original departure date of 8/13/21.

Terms & Conditions

My child or myself will be deviating from the school group travel by either land-only, extended trip, or return flight deviation and forfeit any flights (round-trip or return) based on the option chosen. Therefore, as parent/legal guardian or adult participant I will be responsible for the following:
- Coordinating the necessary arrangements for local transportation for the student or myself and his/her luggage to make it to the proper destination (airport, family or friends, train station, etc.) upon arrival to and departure from the group.
- Advising the group’s Director of the arrangements made for my child/myself.

Furthermore, I am aware of the following:
- AHSTF/WorldStrides insurance coverage is not in effect until my child or myself reaches the group AND longer in effect once my child or myself leaves the group.
- AHSTF/WorldStrides assistance is not in effect until my child or myself reaches the group AND no longer provided once my child or myself leaves the group.
- I am responsible for any fees imposed by the airline and local transportation arrangements and fees until my child or myself reaches the group AND once my child or myself departs from the group.

* 9. I am the parent or legal guardian of the above minor participant or I am the adult participant. I agree that I have read and acknowledge the terms and conditions listed above. I understand that AHSTF/WorldStrides strongly advises against the unaccompanied travel by minors under the age of 21 years. I hereby release WorldStrides, the American High School Theatre Festival, and Director (listed above), from any and all responsibility and/or liability and agree not to file suit for any loss, claim or damage which may arise from any cause whatsoever arising out of my child’s or my use of separate transportation and scheduling during the AHSTF tour.
