Thank you for participating in our survey. Your feedback is important.

The FTTH Council Africa (www.ftthcouncilafrica.com), in partnership with Africa Bandwidth Maps (www.africabandwidthmaps.com), is conducting annual research to track FTTH/B penetration in Africa. Measuring FTTH/B penetration is critical to understand how the industry is progressing.

This short survey contains 6 short questions, and should take about 5 minutes to complete. We would like to see all African operators participate to ensure the technical accuracy of the data, and we will attempt to document as many metro and FTTH/B networks as possible. The information gathered in this research will be used to compile statistical indicators of FTTH/B penetration in Africa, and to keep the map of metro/ FTTH/ FTTB networks as up-to-date and accurate as possible.

The aim of this research is to determine network reach and ultimately understand how many homes, offices and organisations are connected and the rate at which this is growing. If we know this we will better understand what still needs to be done. The results will, over time, also establish trends and this information if often important for the industry. Please leave your contact details so that we can validate the results of the survey, and email you a summary of the findings.

If you have any questions or feedback on this survey, please use the feedback box at the end of the survey, or contact either Juanita Clark (juanita@ftthcouncilafrica.com) or Paul Hamilton (hamilton.paul@btinternet.com).
