Hello Head Start/ECEAP/EHS/EE folks -

We are planning our 2022 "Advocacy Week" (Feb 7-10) and would like some information from you to make our advocacy super effective and efficient!  This will be very similar to last year's schedule - a kick-off/training on Monday morning, followed by Issue Deep Dives during the day Monday and Tuesday, then Wednesday and most of Thursday you have the option of attending the WSA Winter Meeting with lots of great conference options.  It all culminates with the Advocacy Week Rally 3-4 on Thursday.

Of course, this is about advocacy, so we want you and your parents and staff to be meeting with lawmakers! We are more than willing to help with that.  Please complete the short survey below, and we'll get started on appointments on your behalf.  And even if you opt out of us setting up the appointments, please complete anyway so we know who to contact when things come up!

Thanks!

Question Title

* 4. Understanding that we are often at the mercy of lawmakers' schedules, what days/times would work best for folks in your program?

Question Title

* 5. If you have parents attending who speak a language other than English, can you provide a translator from your program?

Question Title

* 6. What else should we know to make this process run smoothly for you?

We will start making appointments when lawmakers start allowing it (usually late December/early Jan) and we will try to give you as much notice as possible.  We will also be setting up a Zoom for all of you to hear from us about Advocacy Week and answer any questions.  Your voices are so critical in our advocacy!

Thank you!

Scarlett, Katy, April, Joel, and the poor intern who will be setting up meetings (the fabulous WSA Team!)
