BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION STUDENT PLACEMENT

NAWIC ACT in partnership with the ACT Office for Women have launched a pilot program seeking to improve the understanding of the building and construction industry in secondary schools, particularly in young women.

NAWIC ACT are seeking expressions of interest from the building and construction industry in the Canberra and Greater Regions to take on a female student placement from mid-September to end of November 2022.

All placements are a commitment for a block placement of a minimum five business days. Placements are unpaid with insurance covered by the ACT Education Directorate. All required PPE will be supplied by NAWIC ACT and the ACT Office for Women.
