For Public Comment - ACGC Practice Based Competencies

Background

As part of the periodic review of the Practice Based Competencies (PBCs) The Accreditation Council for Genetic Counseling (ACGC) created the Practice Based Competencies Task Force (PBCTF), which convened for the first time in February 2020. The PBCTF was charged with:

Reviewing the current PBCs with a focus on ability to adapt to changes in the field, applicability to scope of practice, and measurability for student assessment
Surveying stakeholders regarding use, utility,
Gaps of the current PBCs, and revising the PBCs based on information gathered.

Please enter your comments below in the box corresponding to the revised PBC section on which you wish to provide input. The deadline for submission is October 1, 2022.
