Membership in the Merced County - A Community Counteracting Tobacco (ACCT) Coalition
is open to any individual or organization who endorses the coalition’s mission and wishes
to serve as a volunteer to our cause. Membership in the ACCT Coalition is voluntary, and members
do not receive compensation for service.
Mission Statement:
Empowering residents of Merced County to achieve a healthier lifestyle and
tobacco- free environments
ACCT Coalition members will receive:
Up-to-date information on tobacco related issues affecting California and Merced County residents
Topical training and professional development opportunities
Opportunities to participate in educational campaigns with local policymakers and the community at-large
Recognition for contributions made to advance local tobacco control policy campaigns
