In 2021, the Central Texas Conference unveiled AACtion!, an initiative to grow and strengthen the witness of CTC African American/Black congregations. This initiative set aside $1 million to support efforts by African American/Black congregations to grow and strengthen their churches’ witness.
 
To date, the AACtion! has provided grant funding for churches whose applications are approved. We are now discerning ways to adapt in order to best achieve the objective of growing and strengthening the CTC African American churches, and we would appreciate your prayerful assistance in this discernment via the following brief survey.
 
This survey seeks information that might aid us in developing approaches that give the best opportunity to achieve our desired outcome.  We are seeking your input because of your work in The UMC, your commitment to its mission and ministry, and because of your highly valued leadership.
