In May, the Pima County Office of Emergency Management in partnership with the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs along with FEMA Region 9 will participate in the 2020 National Level Exercise.
The National Level Exercise 2020, Binary Blackout, is a complex, adversary-based multidimensional attack that will affect critical infrastructure, destabilize community lifelines and lead to a domestic national security emergency. In our region we will be focusing on response capabilities as a result of a long-term power outage.
As a part of the Amateur Radio Community, we are requesting participation by completing this survey so that we have an increased understanding of this valuable resource capability within the region.
