Conserving Fish, Wildlife, and Habitat for Future Generations
In 2015, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) asked people throughout the state to comment on what the department is doing right and where it can improve in the coming years.
Thousands of people responded to WDFW’s Wild Future initiative, commenting on issues ranging from land management to wolf recovery. Few themes, however, ran deeper than the critical importance of conserving the state’s fish, wildlife and natural habitat for future generations.
As we have in the past, we are seeking comments on what you like about each proposal and how they can be improved. We encourage you to comment on any, or all, of the 2017-19 policy and budget proposals.
