During public opinion surveys and assistance group meetings in Zone B (DMU B1), hunters told us that they wanted to have some opportunity to harvest antlerless deer while allowing the deer population to be maintained at current levels or increase in size. In response, FWC staff is proposing a reduction in the number antlerless deer days to reduce the number of does being harvested to allow the deer population to stabilize or increase over the next 5 years.
