Winter storms in 2023 caused major damage to Seacliff and New Brighton State Beaches in Santa Cruz County. As State Parks begins preliminary planning efforts to build future resilience to coastal hazards at these beaches, we are seeking input from visitors and our community. Your responses to this survey will inform our team’s initial understanding of what beach and park users value, potential vulnerabilities, and approaches to increasing resilience at Seacliff and New Brighton. You will have additional opportunities to share your feedback as the project progresses.
