Translators and Interpreters Wages and Conditions Petition

Wages and conditions for translators and interpreters (TI's) in Queensland are appallingly low, with many TI's leaving the industry for better paying work. When employees negotiate as a group with their employer we can win better outcomes than as individuals. Translators and Interpreters Australia (TIA) can compel your employer to negotiate better wages and conditions via a new agreement called an Enterprise Agreement if at least 50% of TI\s working for each employer sign this petition.  If you want to see improved wages and conditions for TI's please complete your relevant petition below.

If you are an employee of any of the following employers you should vote on whether you want to bargain for an agreement in your workplace.

As many of you work for more than one of these employers you should vote in each petition where you are employed.

If you are a Translator or Interpreter and you want to bargain for an enterprise agreement and your employer is not one of the ones covered by the following petitions please contact us to discuss arranging a petition for your employer. Please contact Rachael Limpus via email rlimpus@professionalsaustralia.org.au
