This training is intended to provide agriculture educators, technical service providers, and advocates with a solid base of regenerative grazing knowledge so that they can advocate for best practices, appropriate application, and the associated benefits in their states and the U.S. Upper Midwest. Applicants who are based in Illinois and Indiana or serve producers and other agricultural stakeholders in those states will be prioritized, but applicants from other states in the Upper Midwest are also invited to apply.

Participants will be expected to complete an eight-week self-guided online course, attend weekly one-hour virtual meetings, and complete pre and post assessments both hosted on the Regenerative Ag Idea Network (REGAIN). This is a commitment of approximately 35-45 hours from August 2021 through October 2021. Participants are encouraged to attend in-person regenerative grazing field days in Illinois hosted by the Pasture Project.
