LEAP (Leadership through Education, Activities, and Personal Development) is a committee of student leaders from WIAA member schools who represent the voice of more than 225,000 student participants across the state. Each spring, the WIAA selects eight incoming juniors to join the LEAP Committee. Members serve for two years, during their junior and senior years, and meet 5–6 times per school year at the WIAA office in Renton. Committee members also have the opportunity to participate in additional WIAA events, including Executive Board meetings and State Championships.

Meeting dates are shared upon appointment, and all travel expenses are reimbursed by the Association.

All letters of recommendation must be submitted by MAY 31, 2025.
