We're glad to see that you're interested in participating in the Washington Open ProfTech Project sponsored by the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE) FY22 Open Textbooks Pilot grant.

We’re looking for passionate faculty members who will 1) serve as peer reviewers or 2) participate in faculty cohorts to collectively author two open textbooks: Introduction to Hospitality and Introduction to Machining. 

Submission deadline: November 11, 2022
SBCTC will announce the results by Monday, November 14, 2022.

NOTE: This form will serve as your official application to join the project. 

Information you'll need to fill out this application: 
  • Examples of your writing (URLs or downloadable documents)
  • Relevant academic credentials (transcripts not necessary)
  • List of classes you’ve taught and are currently teaching
