ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill and Experience)
-Accounting diploma from Community College.
-2 years accounting experience
-OHRS (MIS) Certification and competency (Preferred)
-Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
-Knowledge of general ledger, patient accounting, material management and inventory processes

ACCOUNTABILITIES (Major Responsibilities of the Position)
-Review and post all general ledger financial and statistical activity (including imports, accruals, prepaids, etc.)
-Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and prepare working papers for review
-Reconcile staffing statistical accounts for accuracy
-Ensure data is in compliance with OHRS Guidelines
-Maintain Chart of Accounts and required interface tables from source systems to General ledger.
-Prepare physician payment requisitions and related reports
-Participate in the external reporting system for both financials and statistics
-Prepare year-end lead sheets for audit, and provide supporting backup for each account
-Support capital asset budgeting and planning initiatives
-Maintain and reconcile Fixed Asset Subledger
-Assist with special projects as necessary
-Assist with departmental mail pickup and distribution
