SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND THE COURTS, SOUTH AFRICA |
Thank you for volunteering to take this survey about sexual harassment in the courts.
This project is a collaboration between the Democratic Governance and Rights Unit (DGRU) and the South African Chapter of the International Association of Women Judges (SAC-IAWJ).
All of the information you enter into the survey will be completely anonymous. We will not collect your name or any other identifying information from you. Your responses will not be linked to you in any way.
The benefit from participating in this study is that it will help us to learn about sexual harassment in the courts and how formal complaints of sexual harassment are dealt with in the courts. The findings of this study will be used by the DGRU to contribute to improving the complaints structures that deal with sexual harassment in the courts.
We are going to ask you about your understanding, views and experience of sexual harassment in the courts. We are also going to ask you about your experience when you lodged a formal complaint of sexual harassment and the mental and/or emotional support provided or not provided to you.
If you feel upset because of any of the questions, you can contact one of the support / counselling numbers below.
