Two-way radio usage is an everyday occurrence in the public safety and yet “communications” still arises in many after action reviews as one of the primary problem issues. On actual incidents and in planned events, it has been shown time and again that individuals don’t fully understand or are capable of using the functions of the radio that they carry and depend on. Upon completion of this course, participants will have an overview of minimal components necessary to establish and provide initial and sustained training In the fundamentals of using the radio equipment associated with their jurisdiction.
