Life after ESOL Programs
We know adult English language learners are enrolling in language programs every year.
Are ESOL programs adequately preparing these students to be fluent, proficient speakers of English after they exit the program and enter academia or the workforce? Are they able to use English and meet the expectations in the academic setting and/or the workforce? Do we know?
Are administrators, directors, and/or others collecting this information? Do you need more funding to support tracking students who exit the program?

This survey seeks to collect information regarding the language proficiency of English Language learners after they have completed an ESOL program (e.g. community based, college program, intensive language programs and/or workforce training).
The outcomes of this survey will be used to investigate ways to start, improve and/or increase tracking processes for the ESOL programs that serve thousands of learners across the country.
