You are invited to participate in a survey that is specific to the North West Queensland region, to assist the relevant stakeholders with identifying the required skills agribusiness and its associated value chain are needing or wanting, inclusive of all staff, business managers/owners and those wishing to enter into the industry.
We would like feedback from both owner/manager and senior level but also ask that you share this with the 17 to 25 year age bracket in order for us to determine a next gen needs component. We would like the information from this survey to benefit the region, and so a collaborative approach is being taken, to reduce duplication of workshops, training or time.
Background
Local Government Councils have been working with the Queensland Agricultural Workforce Network (QAWN) and Queensland's Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) in a collaborative response to the many impacts this region experiences.
This phase of community and economic recovery involves the development of a wellbeing, skills and training plan for North Western Queensland. We really look forward to you helping us design and deliver this according to your exact needs so we may begin implementation as soon as possible.
