1. Position Description and Qualifications

We appreciate your interest in the 2020 Orientation Team! Being an Orientation Team (O-Team) member it is a fun way to develop leadership skills, meet faculty, staff and incoming students as well as grow professionally.

Please read the entire position description to learn about the qualifications, requirements, important dates and the job description for the Orientation Team member position and then proceed to the application.

The Orientation Team Interview process consists of THREE rounds of various group and individual interviews and will be held Friday, January 31st (evening) and Saturday, February 1st (morning & Afternoon). Please be available for these dates and times upon submission of your application. Application deadline extended to Sunday, February 2nd at Midnight  

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Full time undergraduate student at Ashland University from January 2021 - December 2021.

• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.25 and be in good academic standing; individual circumstances will be discussed and taken into consideration.

• Must possess and exhibit a positive attitude and demeanor of Ashland University interpersonally as well as via social media.

• Must be in good Student Conduct standing.

• Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills; written and oral.

• Ability to meet assigned deadlines within structured time frames.

• Understanding of group dynamics and the ability to lead as well as follow.
