The World YWCA Council is the largest gathering of YWCA members from all around the world. It is a time for membership engagement, decision-making, reflections and networking.
 
Apply to join the YWCA USA formal voting delegation and serve as a voting delegate at World Council. Through this application process, the Global Relations Committee of the YWCA USA Board of Directors will select 3 individuals that are formally affiliated with YWCA as a staff member or volunteer to serve as voting delegates.As part of the YWCA USA formal delegation, YWCA USA will cover the cost of participation for all voting delegates. This includes the registration fee, travel expenses, and a per diem for reasonable expenses.

Eligibility Requirements for Applicants:

1)  Must serve in a staff or an active volunteer capacity within the YWCA network for more than 1 year at the time the application is submitted.

2) A valid and current passport; exceptions with in reason will be made (please email Ljoseph@ywca.org for additional info).

3) The ability to travel internationally between November 15 through November 25, 2019

In addition to completing the application below, please submit: 
 
1) A cover letter indicating your interest in serving as Voting Delegate at World Council

2) Your resume/CV

3) A formal endorsement from a  your local association ED, CEO or Board Chair or the World Service Council member
