Recently you received one or more copies of the activity book "Play and learn: Being online", created by Insafe in cooperation with Liberty Global and the European Commission.
This booklet aims at introducing concepts of modern technology in the daily vocabulary and activities of children aged 4 to 8. Although the activity book was created so that young children can complete the activities alone, many of the exercises require some guidance.
A first objective of the booklet is to gradually teach children about issues such as visual discrimination, critical thinking, values, privacy and many more.
We encourage parents and teachers to discuss topics such as privacy and modern technology with their children and pupils starting from a very young age, as it is likely these issues already play an important role in their lives. The activity book was created with the intention to serve as a tool for parents and teachers to engage in this discussion with their children/pupils.
Insafe is very interested to know if the booklet has fulfilled its objectives and goals.
Therefore we request a few minutes of your time to feedback on your experiences and those of your child/pupil, whith the activity book.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
