The Church Question Title * Church questions #1 There isn't really any value in going to church. Church is a good things, but I don’t need to go to church regularly. (Average once every few months) I attend church about 2 times per month. I attend church regularly because it is an integral part of my growth. I attend church regularly because while I benefit from it, I am there to serve and encourage others. Question Title * Church question #2 Weekend services are about primarily being entertained. Weekend services are primarily for me to learn. Weekend services are primarily for me to worship. Weekend services are primarily for the body of believers to be together, worship and for learning. Weekend services great for the body of believer to gather with others to worship and learn, but it's primarily a chance for me to bring glory to God with others, including pouring into, encouraging and serving others. Question Title * Church question #3 I don't need to go to church. Going to church isn't necessary, just nice. Regularly going to church is important, but with everything else going on, not essential. Regularly going to and participating in church is vital for every believer. My life reflects the importance of regularly volunteering, participating, and developing relationship in the church. Question Title * Church question #4 I'm not part of any church. I'll be part of a church as long as it's fulfilling my needs. Over the last year I've had thoughts of leaving this (or another) church because it wasn't doing things the way I want. As long a the church is focused on Jesus I'm committed to participating in the ministry of the church, wherever they need me. As long a the church is focused on Jesus I'm committed to seeking ways to participate in discipling others to Christ-likenss. Question Title * Church question #5 I don't care if the church grows or shrinks. I'd like the church to stay the size it is. I don't want the church to get too big because it might lose the things I like. I'd love to see the church grow in a way that inconveniences me if it means that God is using the church to disciple more people. I'd love to see the church grow in a way that inconveniences me because that means that God is giving me more opportunities disciple people. Question Title * Church question #6 I'm not interested in being known in a church. I expect the Pastors to know me and be my primary source of encouragement and love from the church. I expect that my group leader is the primary source of encouragement and love from the church. I intentionally pursue relationship that provide me encouragement and love and don't expect the church to provide for all my needs. I intentionally pursue relationship that provide me encouragement and I look to be the provider of encouragment and love to others in the church. Question Title * Church question #7 I don’t have a good idea about how a church helps develop people's faith. The responsibility to help people grow in their faith is centered on pastor's sermon/ classroom lesson. The responsibility to help people grow in their faith are the church programs. The responsibility to help people growth their faith encompass all church functions and I currently help where needed. The responsibility to help people grow in their faith is on me, not the church or pastor. Question Title * Church question #8 If I'm frustrated with the church I'll just leave. If I’m frustrated with the church I complain about it, usually not ever addressing it with leadership (person overseeing it). If I'm frustrated with the church I will talk to the leadership about it and expect they correct it. If I'm frustrated with the chuch I will talk to the leadership about it with a realization that as long as the Gospel is preached, my way may not be adopted. If I'm frustrated with the church pray about it, knowing the Devil is seeking to destroy the church and disconnect me, and when I talk to leadership I offer suggestions of how I can help make the changes.
